Healthy Workplace Service
In 2008, The National Institute for Clinical Excellence published guidelines for promoting physical health in the workplace, encouraging employers to offer opportunities to develop physical fitness and maintain good health. It recognised that "investing in the health of employees can also bring business benefits such as reduced sickness absence, increased loyalty and better staff retention" [NICE PHG13, May 08]
In November 2009, NICE released new guidelines to give guidance and direction to businesses both large and small to improve staff mental wellbeing in the workplace. This document indicates a need to promote a positive environment and work ethic, work-life balance and morale through staff support, work practices (including flexible working hours) and stress management training. [NICE PHG22, Nov 09]
"Research suggest that sucessful organisations share the characteristics of a healthy working environment"[Pfeffer, 1998]

Some feedback from my corporate clients:
"Always nice and Always a pleasure!" RR, Director of Worthing Homes
"I've never been into massages before until our work asked Rachel to come in, and now not a month goes by without me making sure my name is down first. I enjoy both the back massage and the indian head massage and I am definitely de-stressed by the end of it." JM, Neighbourhood manager, Worthing Homes
"It was thoroughly enjoyable & extremely relaxing. It definitely had a calming effect, I found it very useful on that day as I was having a particularly stressful day with some personal problems......I felt the benefit and would definitely welcome the opportunity to do it again" JG, Hampshire county council
"Everyone enjoyed the massages and felt it was a very relaxing half hour, it being a nice change having you come into the workplace. Colleagues said that they enjoyed the treatments they had and that you made them feel very comfortable. Everyone is very keen for another visit in December so see you soon" NH, Worthing Homes
"I really enjoyed my massage, thank you. I was a bit anxious because I've never had a massage before but you were very friendly and professional & so I thoroughly enjoyed the experience & definitely felt more relaxed on returning to my desk.
