Chrysalis Complementary Therapy is a result of many years of faith and commitment from Rachel. She is the Nutrition, Relaxation & Massage Specialist of Chrysalis Complementary Therapy as well as being the founder and practice manager.

Rachel started working in healthcare as a volunteer at her local Leonard Cheshire home, working with staff and residents. Her own experience of serious illness developed in her an interest in holistic therapies. After gaining a BSC (HONS) Nursing at Brighton University, she worked within adult and elderly mental health provision for both the NHS and the private sectors. Rachel still works on the wards to maintain a working medical knowledge. Working with clients who experience both complex mental and medical conditions, it highlighted the delicate balance of using conventional medicine for serious disorders without causing unwelcome side effects.

Her qualifications include:

BSc (HONS) Nursing from the University of Brighton

Advanced Diplomas in Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counseling (Rusland College)

Advanced Diploma in Aromatherapy - Grade A Distinction.

SNHS Diplomas in Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Hopi Ear Candling, Nutrition, Professional Relaxation therapy, Herbalism and Indian Face Massage.- All with Grade A Distinctions.
